The embedded Help system which uses the F1 key has been updated in version 4.0.40. View the system guide from within the program by using the F1 key or by clicking the Contents link in the Help section of the System ribbon menu.
To get information about the new features in any release of entrée V4 system use the View Version Update Notes... link.
Using the Contents Link
Selecting this menu option will invoke an earlier version of the entrée System Guide.
•The system guide will be opened to the Getting Started topic.
• On the left side of the system guide, the Contents tab will be active and the Getting Started topic will be selected.
• Any area of the entrée system guide may be accessed from the Contents tab, by clicking the (expand) icon to the left of the topic.
•Clicking the (collapse) button will hide the open sub-topics of the selected topic.
•The top level topics mirror the layout of the new ribbon style main menu which makes it easy to locate the desired ribbon menu and its information.
Accessing the V4 System Guide and KnowledgeBase via the Internet
The search-able and keyword rich knowledgebase for entrée version 4 SQL can also be accessed in the our website by following these steps:
1. In your browser go to the www.necs.com website and click the Support drop down menu.
2. Click and use the Customer Login to enter the secure area of the website. In this area release upgrades are posted along with links to other support services and documentation.
3. In the menu on the left click the KnowledgeBase option. On this web page you can access to the knowledge bases for many of our software products. In the left menu if you click the System Guides link you can access the guide PDFs for all our products.
4. Click the entrée V4 KnowledgeBase link.
