•This field is used to activate the Customer based commissions feature in entrée. When a customer based commission is defined, entrée will calculate commission based on weight purchased or a percentage of the total sale.

 

•Select either $/LB or % of Sale and enter the value for the customer. You should only use one commission, not both. If both values are entered entrée will pay the commission as a % of Sale.

 

$/LB Commission Formulas

• When a $/LB commission is defined the commission will be calculated for items that are sold by the pound using the formula:

 

Weight Sold * $/LB value

 

• If the item is not sold by the pound the following formula will be used to calculate the commission for the item:

 

Quantity Sold * $/LB value

 

Commission Overrides:

1.Invoice based commissions, if defined, will override the customer based commissions set here.

2. Any commission exceptions that have been defined using the Item Commission Exception utility will override the customer based commission.

3. The customer based commission will override commission rates defined in the Commission Grid in the Salesperson file.
