The Use Dynamic Layout option in the print dialog allows you to selectively override an installed “dynamic invoice” at run time and, instead, generate the standard invoice document as defined on the “Documents” page of System Preferences.

 

When a customer gets a new document designed by NECS they will be using the new dynamic layout for that document. You will be emailed dynamic layout files and install them in entrée using the Dynamic Layout tab in System Preferences.

 

•This Use Dynamic Layout option will be initialized to “checked” if a dynamic layout file is installed and active.

•If a dynamic layout file is installed but is not active, the option will default to “unchecked”.

•If there are no dynamic layout files installed on your system then this option will not be available at all.

•Use the Documents Tab Dynamic Layout sub-tab in System Preferences to set up printing. You will be sent dynamic layout files to install your digital ink patterns.

 

Printer Area Settings for Dynamic Layout Documents

If you only have to print documents with Dynamic Layout and NOT digital ink follow these steps:

 

a. Check the Use the Dynamic Layout option.

 

b. In the Name drop down menu be sure to select the printer.
