Provides a centralized means for defining which days your company will normally be open for business and closed for holidays.
Holidays feature implementation benefits:
1. | Create/Change Invoice has holiday warnings. |
2. | Defining the holidays allows entrée to automatically calculate the holiday's date which means that little or no ongoing maintenance is required from year to year. |
3. | The entrée system uses holiday information to provide warnings in Invoicing. When attempting to create an invoice with an Invoice Date which falls on a holiday the "Holidays" feature will display a "Non-Working Day" warning message to your order entry people and your customers. |
For Columbus Day the message for Invoice Date would say:
Non-Working Day
October 12th the company will be closed for Columbus day. Do you wish to proceed with this Invoice date anyway?
