The PickRight EDI interfaces with the ProCat PickRight software solution for order picking. Utilizing hands-free scanning equipment, the pick system greatly improves productivity and accuracy in the warehouse.      

 

 

The PickRight EDI export process is accessed from the entrée Export utility using the “PickRight EDI” option. This utility exports order routing and loading sheet data for all PickRight enabled customers. The PickRight software will retrieve the exported files from the shared folder and forward the appropriate data to the pickers wrist worn display. Exports can be performed manually, as well as automated through the entrée scheduling utility. Once an invoice is exported it will be locked for changes.

 

When picking is complete for a Unit of Work, PickRight will place the completed .EXP file into the shared folder for entrée to retrieve. The PickRight Import process is accessed from the entrée Import utility using the “PickRight” option.  This utility imports picked invoice item quantities and weights and updates the invoice.  When all Pick Zones for an invoice have been completed Pickright will send a .INV file that when processed by entrée will unlock the associated invoice for editing. Any changes to that invoice will need to be manually communicated to the warehouse.
