Move Bid Price To Special Price Utility Overview

Use menu path: System > Cost/Price Utilities > Move Bid Price to Special Price to run the utility.

 

The Bid Price to Special Price transfer operation can be performed outside of the Update Future Pricing utility. This utility operates independently of the Future Pricing feature and works directly on the data in the Customer Special Price file. The transfer process is controlled by setting limits on any or all of the following values:

 

•Customer Number

•Customer Miscellaneous Code

•Item Number  

•Item Class

 

 

This process specifically looks for a non-zero Bid Price value before performing the transfer so it will never zero out your Special Prices.
