Customer File Maintenance

Providing your customers with the best service is crucial to the lifeblood of your organization. Customer file maintenance is where customers are entered into the entrée system and maintained. Because of the many different requirements that are typically required by food service distributors, entrée offers a very rich set of options when setting up customers. Of course, not every option will be used for every customer. In fact, there may be many setup alternatives that will never be used.

 

For example, if a customer is never charged freight on delivered orders, the Freight/Lb. Rate field would not need to be defined. Or if pricing for all customers is maintained using the special price file, there would be no need to assign customer group codes. The point is, the entrée system is flexible enough to deal with most distributors needs.
