There are times when product may need to be transferred into another product ID or into a different lot. It is for these circumstances that the Inventory Transfers utility is in the entrée system.

 

It can also be used for simple manufacturing to move raw product into one or more cut items. Product shrink or product increase can be addressed here also by adjusting the quantity into the "to" item.
