The data file location fields are used to specify path information to key database files and must be properly configured on the workstation prior to performing any other task with the entrée system.

Data file locations must be configured on every workstation that will access the entrée system.

Path to NECS Common Files

Enter the drive letter and path of the directory in which the entrée data files are located. This is the directory where the entrée data files are stored.

The specific file that the entrée system needs to locate is the ARVERIFY.DAT file. If this file is not located in the same directory where the remaining data files are located, it should be moved there now. For more information on moving files consult the Windows documentation or the network administrator.

Path to Accounting Common Files

The ability for the entrée system to link to accounts payable and general ledger programs gives entrée added flexibility. This data path is used when linking to the entrée.AP and/or entrée.GL add-on modules or to one of the other supported accounting software packages.

Enter the drive and path in which the SYSDATA.DBF file is located.

If the SYSDATA.DBF file IS located in the same directory as the entrée data files, click the Copy NECS Path button.
