This option was implemented for distributors that manufacture their own product.

 

•If this option is enabled, manufactured items, which are assigned to a lot, can be assigned a production number in addition to the lot number.

•The production number is assigned, when entering the lot information, while receiving the manufactured product into inventory.

•Many of the lot based inventory reports may be optionally filtered, grouped, and sorted by production number.
