If this option is enabled, entrée will print bar codes on the purchase orders that are used by the warehouse staff when receiving the order.
•A bar code printed at the top right identifies the vendor and the purchase order number (bar code type 3 of 9 is used).
•A bar code is printed directly below each line item, alternating between left and right justification so the wrong code is not accidentally scanned.
•If system option 119 is enabled, the bar code for the line items will not be printed.
•Finally a bar code is printed at the bottom of each page, which can be scanned if the item was received in full. If the item was not received in full the actual quantity received may be manually entered using the hand-held scanning device.
•To take advantage of bar code scanning in the entrée system, the <%SHORT%>.UPC add-on module or the Electronic Warehouse Manager app for tablets, as well as the appropriate scanning hardware, must be purchased separately.
