Mod #1041 Revised Make From Feature

Changes the operation of the "Make From" Feature in entrée to allow any inventory item to be linked to any other inventory item, removing the LB. item restriction.

The standard operation of the "Make From" feature only allows the "made" item to be linked to an "LB." item.

#1 A Ham Steak "PC." item is used as the "Make From" Ham Round another "PC." item.

#2 Seafood distributors making fillets from fresh fish product.

Quantities are calculated based on the unit weight of the "Make From" item and are rounded to two decimal places (the limit of resolution in the "On Hand Quantity" field of Inventory File Maintenance).

The timing of when the inventory will be removed from the "Make From" item is the same as with regular entrée items, based on how the "made" item is defined: Constant weight items update immediately, Catchweight / LB. items update once actual weights have been entered.

Version 3.6.13a 9/25/12

Allow the "made" item to carry inventory and, in calculating the "pull" amount, the process is supposed to account for any leftover inventory on the "made" item. The "pull amount" calculation has been revised so that any existing inventory is deducted from the requirement first and then the yield calculation is performed.

Version 3.6.26

Revised the "save invoice" process of Create/Change Invoice, the modification was attempting to perform the "yield" calculation for a "Make From" item on items that were not defined as "Make From" items.

This meant that the defined "Yield" value for the item was zero which is would produce a "divide by zero" the error (the yield calculation is a division).
