Allow "Kit" items to be received without deducting inventory from the ingredient items.

 

The new "Deduct ingredient invt" check box will be visible immediately below the existing "Drop Ship?" check box after entering the Item Number of a "Kit" item.

 

•When the "Deduct ingredient invt" box is checked (which is the initial default) the "Kit" item will be processed as usual.

 

•When unchecked the user will not be prompted for the ingredient detail information and, instead, the process will go straight into posting the Inventory as it does for any non-"Kit" item.

 

The system will "remember" the last-used selection for the "Deduct" option. The saved setting is read when first opening Receive by Item and is updated to the current setting of the "Deduct" check box any time the operator clicks "OK" to post a receipt.
