Modify the item costing system in entrée to add a second freight cost value ("Freight 2") as well as a "Duty Cost" value which will carry the estimated Customs Duty for the item. In addition, support has been added for associating a currency with the original "Real Cost" and "Freight" values as well as the new "Freight 2" value.

Fixed issue where the pop-up cost-editing dialog was clearing the Wharfage Fee code causing the fee to be removed from the cost of the item.

 

Update 8 Oct 2009:

The "Freight" and "Freight 2" values will no longer be linked into the Monetary Exchange feature. Please see Modification #903 for further details.

 

Update 13 Oct 2009:

•The implementation of this modification has been changed internally to restore the original Monetary Exchange feature for use in Purchasing. The original implementation of this feature took over the "ARExchge" data file and the data will now be stored in the new "ARVFExch" data file.

•Extended the implementation of this modification to provide an item cost value for Wharfage. This includes the addition of a new data field on the "Miscellaneous 2" page of Inventory File Maintenance to allow specification of the item's "normal" port of entry which will be used to automatically establish the value of Wharfage Cost for the item.
