Normally the Real Cost of a "Make From" item is copied directly from the original item. Changed the Cost/Price Update procedure so that the Real Cost for a "Make From" item is calculated using Yield %. This modification takes the cost of the original item and adjusts it based on the defined Yield %.

 

A "Labor" field has been added to the "Make From" area in Inventory File Maintenance. The "Labor" cost is added to the yield-adjusted cost to arrive at the final Real Cost value for the item.

 

"Labor" is intended strictly to represent the cost of the actual labor required to convert the original item into the "Make From" item.
