Modify the Invoicing system to tag newly-created Special Price entries, which also track when a product was last sold to a given customer.

 

The layouts of the Loading Sheet and the Type BD Invoice to show one asterisk  "*" next to the Item Number of each item that is tagged as being "new".

 

Once the Invoice has been printed for the first time the "new item" tag will be permanently removed from the Special Price entry.

 

Update16 Dec 2008:

Change the implementation of this feature so that instead of showing just one asterisk there will now be two "**".
