The new Cycle Count feature of entrée version 4 is an important new tool for your inventory management. It offers the ability to count a small subset of inventory in contrast with a traditional "physical inventory" which involves the counting of all items at one time.

 

Cycle counts are less disruptive to daily operations, provide an ongoing measure of inventory accuracy and procedure execution, and can be tailored to focus on items with higher value or higher sales volume.

 

On the Inventory tab in the Inventory ribbon menu you have the Cycle Counting options and results for each item.

 

Inventory tab Cycle Counting options include:

 

▪Flag to Count - Check this option if you would like the item included in the next scheduled cycle count.

▪Always Count - Check this option to mark items that should always be included in your cycle counts.

Inventory tab Last Cycle Count information includes:

 

▪Last - Date of the last cycle count.

▪By - Ordertaker code of the person who performed the cycle count and entered the count information.

▪Count Qty  - The last cycle count quantity entered.

▪Wght  - The last cycle count weight entered.
