If an item is sold by weight, entrée will perpetually maintain the on hand weight of the item.

 

•As product is received, the on hand weight is increased.

 

•entrée reduces the on hand weight for Constant weight items after the invoice is saved.

 

•entrée reduces the on hand weight for Catchweight items after the invoice is printed.

 

•entrée reduces the on hand weight for items with a unit of measure set to LB. after the weight is entered.

 

•The ability to edit the value in this field may be determined by permissions in the Security Manager by enabling Miscellaneous password option #11 Allow editing of On Hand Qty. and Weight in Invt. File Maintenance for the entrée user account.

 

 

•Do not edit the on hand weight for items that are tracked by lot. When an item is tracked by lot, entrée maintains the value based on the sum of the on hand weights in each of the lots for the item.

•Revised the "save" process so that, if the On Hand Quantity or On Hand Weight of an item is altered, an entry will be written to the Inventory Transaction File ("ARITran") to record the change.

 

 

•In entrée version 4 SQL there are new graphical elements to quickly indicate the on hand status for the item.
