These fields are used to specify the date range that the item will be on sale. The invoice date must fall between the starting and ending date for the customer to receive the sale price.

 

•If the starting or ending date is left blank the sale price will not be used.

 

•When a sale price expires, entrée does not automatically remove the sale price entry, it is just no longer a valid sale price item.

 

The Purge Inventory Sale Prices utility can be used to remove expired Sale Prices from the entrée system. This utility is typically used to remove what many distributors refer to as "weekly specials". The utility can also be used to clear out old prices and provides an option to remove prices with no ending date.
