The special reorder definitions area is used to define up to 4 alternate order points and reorder quantities. The special reorder definitions can be useful for increasing or decreasing how often an item is purchased and the quantity to maintain on hand before the item is considered to be in a low inventory state. Typical reasons may be a holiday season or the slower winter months.

 

Enter the period for each special reorder definition in the Months fields. The definition will be valid from the first day of the first month through the last day of the second month.

 

Enter the minimum stock level, for each special reorder definition, in the Order Point field.

 

Enter the quantity to order when automatic purchases order are generated, for each special reorder definition, in the Reorder Qty field.

 

Under normal operation the values specified for the special reorder definitions are only used on the PO Guide report.

 

You must enable system option # 115 to use Special reorder definitions in the entrée system.
