The Inventory Utilities section contains the Cost / Price Utilities, Recalculate utilities for Inventory, Reassign Item Number and Purge Data options in addition to utilities for managing on hand quantities and weights of the inventory file.

 

The Inventory File Transfer utility will only display if you have the multi-company add-on module and entrée set up as a multi-company system. Review the information here to get an overview of the utilities.

 

 

       

 

Inventory File Transfer Utility

Only for distributors that have purchased the multi-company add-on module and have a multi-company entrée environment.

 

This new utility will make it so easy to transfer, update and copy inventory items from one company to another in a multi-company business environment. This will be a real time saver for your office staff.

 

•When your entrée V4 SQL system has a   multi-company add-on module the Inventory File Transfer utility option will display in the Inventory Utilities section of the ribbon.

 

How to Use the Inventory File Transfer Utility

Once you have installed the multi-company add-on module you will set up your companies numbered 01, 02, 03 etc.... These companies will be accessed in the inventory file transfer utility drop down menus for the Company Selection fields.

 

1. Select your To and From companies using the Company Selection drop down menus.

 

▪Transfer From Company

▪Transfer To Company

 

2. Select the desired Item Options.

 

▪Update Items that exist in both

▪Add Items in From that are not in To

▪Remove Items in To that are not in From

 

3. Select the desired Data Options.

 

▪Transfer cost and price information

▪Transfer item images

 

4. Click the Copy button.

 

Inventory On Hand, On Order, Allocations, Non-Stock and MTD/YTD information will NOT be transferred.
