There are times when product may need to be transferred into another product ID or into a different lot. It is for these circumstances that the Inventory Transfers utility is in the entrée system.

 

It can also be used for simple manufacturing to move raw product into one or more cut items. Product shrink or product increase can be addressed here also by adjusting the quantity into the "to" item. This section will overview the inventory transfers utility.

 

In version 4.0.40 a new feature was added to track lot items when transferring from one lot to another.

 

•The original item, lot number and received date are in the “Transfer FROM” section and will be saved in the IFM Lots Tab grid.

•The information in the “Transfer TO” section is used to update the item information in the Inventory File Lots Tab for the item.

•The Inventory Transfer utility allows you to update costs on non-lot items with entrée release v4.1.4.

 

 

•New columns have been added to the Inventory File Lots Tab to show the original lot information: Original Item, Original Lot, and Original Recv. Date.
