Only balanced entries can be posted to General Ledger.

 

When you click the "Post" button, the Post Journal Entries window will be displayed. If you select and post any balanced entry, the Post Journal Entries window will close, then the Journal Edit window will close, and you will be returned to the Main Menu.

 

If decide to cancel posting, the Post Journal Entries window will close, and you will be returned to the Journal Edit window.

Before you can post any journal entries, any pending changes to the current entry must be saved.
