Cancel Purchase Order Utility

 

Sometimes circumstances may dictate that a purchase order is canceled. The required product may have been located from a different vendor at a lower price or possibly a customer canceled a special order.

 

When a purchase order is canceled, it is completely removed from the entrée system as if it never existed. The only exception being that once a purchase order is canceled, the purchase order number is no longer useable. This section will detail the use of the cancel purchase order utility.

 

 

 

•Canceling a purchase order should not be confused with closing a purchase order.

•Canceling a purchase order completely removes it from the entrée system as if it never existed, where as closing is the final step in completing a successful purchasing process.
