This utility should only be used by new entrée customers that are going online for the first time.
•Only entrée system System Administrators should be granted access to this utility in the Security Manager.
It's purpose is to clear out all sample inventory values that may have been entered while learning the capabilities of the system.
•After resetting the inventory to zero, on hand quantities and weights should be entered using the Physical Adjustments utility.

Using the Reset Inventory to Zero utility
1. | Go to the Inventory ribbon menu in the entrée application window. |
2. | In the Inventory Utilities section of the ribbon select the Purge Data drop down menu. |
3. Select Reset Inventory to Zero in the menu.
4. If you have lot based items in your inventory check the option to include lot based items.
5. Click Continue and the process will run.
This action cannot be reversed and should only be performed by system administrators, when initially going "live" with the entrée system.
•NECS strongly recommends all users are out of the entrée system, when this utility is run. This will ensure the data integrity is not compromised by another user, accessing one or more of the data files while the operation is being performed.
