This field is used to activate the Customer based commissions feature in entrée. When a customer based commission is defined, entrée will calculate commission based on weight purchased or a percentage of the total sale.

 

•If this feature is to be used, enter either a $/LB or a % of Sale amount for the customer, but not both. If both values are entered entrée will pay the commission as a % of Sale.

 

•When a $/LB commission is defined, commission will be calculated for items that are sold by the pound using the formula: Weight Sold * $/LB value

 

•If the item is not sold by the pound the following formula will be used to calculate the commission for the item: Quantity Sold * $/LB value

 

•Invoice based commissions, if defined, will override the customer based commissions.

 

•Any commission exceptions that have been defined using the Item Commission Exception utility will also override the customer based commission.

 

•The customer based commission will override commission rates defined in the Commission Grid of salesperson file maintenance.
