Editing an existing image allows you to update the graphical data for an image file, while maintaining the current image reference ID. This allows you to modify the image that is displayed without having to update each of the items or classes that are assigned to the old image file.

 

You can also use the Edit utility if you wish to change the description of the image that is displayed in the image grid.

 

1.From the Select Image dialog click on the desired Image ID to edit in the images grid.

 

2.Click the Edit button in the Select Image... dialog. This will open the Edit Image dialog.

 

3.   Optionally edit and update the Image Type.

 

4.Optionally edit and change the image Description.

 

5.In the Preview area the mouse cursor will change into a "hand point" cursor. Click inside this area or click on tan existing image to open the Load Image... dialog which can be used to assign a new image.

 

6.Click OK to update the image database with the changes.
