The cost mark-up feature allows for distributors to add an overhead or burden factor to the cost of an item.

If a cost mark-up is defined, the base cost of the item will become locked and automatically maintained by entrée.

The cost markup may be entered using a dollar amount or a percentage value.

The base cost of the item when using a dollar amount cost markup is derived using the formula:

Real Cost + Freight Rate + Cost Mark-Up

The base cost of the item when using a percentage amount cost markup is derived using the formula:

(Real Cost + Freight Rate) x (Cost Mark-Up / 100)
