The Class field is provided as means of grouping products of similar type together.

 

•Up to 15 characters may be entered for the product's class name along with a class image.

 

•The product class will appear in many areas of the entrée system including reports and the inventory search screen.

 

•Many inventory and sales reports may be optionally grouped or sorted by item class.

 

•Some examples of classes would be Dairy, Poultry, Fresh Seafood, and Paper.

 

•New class names may be entered directly into the class field or an existing class may be selected by clicking the drop-down button and selecting one from the list.

 

•Invoices can be sorted and subtotaled by item Class by enabling system option 111.

 

Use the Class File Maintenance utility in the Inventory ribbon menu to Add, Edit and Delete classes and their images.
