This option will change existing Markup Percentage values to match the value specified.

 

•Prices based on a dollar amount over cost will not be affected unless the Override existing price setup option is enabled.

•Selecting this option, allows you to adjust the percentage that the item will be marked up.

 

Consider the following item, with a markup percentage value of 15.0% over a cost of $12.00, resulting in a level price value of $13.80.

 

•If the markup % was set to 20.0, the new markup % for the item would become 20.0% and the new level price would become $14.40.

•If the markup % was set to -10.0%, new markup % for the item would become -10.0% and the new level price would become $10.80.
