Wholesail Partnership

Nov 18 2025

NECS recently celebrated a new partnership with Wholesail

What does this mean for you?

Wholesail is a B2B accounts receivable automation & payments platform built specifically for food & beverage wholesalers. Over 400 wholesalers nationwide use Wholesail to get paid by more than 100,000 restaurants, retailers, and other businesses across the United States.

Wholesail is a great fit for entrée-using distributors of all sizes to address key A/R issues such as:

● Consistent late payments and cash flow disruption
● Spending too much time on collections or manual payment reconciliation
● Customers frequently lose or skip invoices
● Collection disputes due to operators paying incorrectly
● Inability to pass along credit card convenience fees limiting the use of this important and popular payment option
● Delayed delivery routes and burdened drivers taking collections and waiting for checks

Wholesail improves transparency with a secure customer portal where operators can view invoices and payment history, print, pay invoices and apply credits. Automated invoices and statements tie to the portal with click to pay functionality to ease the customer payment process.

Wholesail payments are automatically applied in entrée, thus reducing cash entry efforts and freeing up the A/R team for more profitable tasks.

Credit card fees are reduced by passing along convenience fees to customers in specific instances or offering an option to pay via ACH for free.

An extensive Autopay feature ensures clients pay on-time, every time. Wholesail reports that at least 53% of all payments through their system are managed via autopay, thus drastically reducing collection efforts for the distributors. Wholesail has functionality to run internal campaigns to enroll current operators in autopay as well as sign up new customers at the time of account creation with their automated credit management process.

Wholesail reports that their users achieve a material reduction in labor, saving an average of 40 hours per week for every 500 operators!

There are at least 7 entrée members using Wholesail at the time of this blog post. The implementation/onboarding is well managed and seamless. NECS and their Customer Success Managers implement distributors in about 4 weeks.

From the top down, the Wholesail team has been a pleasure to work with. They have the same shared values regarding how they work with and appreciate their clients.

Wholesail has a new credit monitoring feature called Lighthouse, which provides distributors visibility into the credit worthiness of specific operators in your operating area.

As we continue to add mutual functionality with Wholesail, using a current entrée release is required.
